Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to ModWorks in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred thondese Yen, whichever is less.
Educational Results Disclaimer
While we design our programs to provide valuable training, we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes. Individual results depend on numerous factors including personal effort, prior experience, aptitude, time commitment, and external circumstances. Testimonials or examples of past participant outcomes do not guarantee similar results for future participants.
Third-Party Liability
We are not responsible for the actions, content, products, or services of third parties referenced or linked through our platform. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them. We recommend exercising caution and reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
Force Majeure
ModWorks shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, government actions, labor strikes, equipment failures, power outages, internet service disruptions, or pandemics.
Program-Specific Conditions
Enrollment Requirements
Certain programs may have specific prerequisites or requirements:

Certificates reflect program completion but do not constitute professional credentials or guarantees of employment qualification.
Refund and Withdrawal

After this period, refunds may be prorated or unavailable. Withdrawal from programs does not automatically trigger refunds; you must submit a formal refund request according to our procedures.
Intellectual Property Provisions
Ownership of Materials
All course materials, content, software, designs, graphics, text, and other intellectual property provided through our services remain the exclusive property of ModWorks or our licensors. Your enrollment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use materials solely for your personal educational purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit our materials for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.
Student Work and Projects
You retain ownership of original works you create during programs. However, by submitting work through our platform, you grant ModWorks a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

- • Use your work in promotional materials with your consent
- • Store and process your work for program administration
You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your work does not infringe on third-party rights.
Copyright Infringement
We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same.
